My mom likes to wear necklaces, so I found this one that I could put all of her children's birthstones on. The top birthstone is an opal (both of parents were born in October), then the four inside are a garnet (me in January), turquoise (Devon in December), an emerald (Hannah in May), and peridot (Olivia in August).
Mother of the Groom
Matt's mom has one necklace that she always wears, so we decided to get her a bracelet instead. It will have four birthstones: Matt's dad's January garnet, Matt's mom's June pearl, Matt's November topaz, and Nicole's March aquamarine.
Father of the Bride
My dad went into the Marines immediately following high school. He graduated in dress blues (only a select few were allowed that honor when he graduated) and remained in the corps for several years. He was later honorably discharged, but no one ever stops being a Marine. To honor him I decided that to get him Marine cufflinks.
Father of the Groom
Matt's dad is half Irish and we wanted to get him a pair of cufflinks that would mean something to him. We found these Celtic Triqueta pair that were simple and would represent his Irish heritage.
