Bride & Groom
Engagement Ring
My engagement ring is exactly what I wanted. I love diamonds and wanted something that sparkled, but I'm afraid that a solitaire setting would break on me. So I told Matt that I wanted a forever ring from Ross Simons.
Wedding Bands
We wanted similar bands (something I took from my parents) but Matt also wanted one that was a little thicker. So we ordered a plain white gold band for me (from Kay) and the Triton titanium band for Matt (from Jared). I like that his has some detail; it's like my two rings combined.
Hairpiece
I don't like veils, so I'm wearing a flower hair clip in my hair instead. I found this one on Etsy from seller SarasBoutique. I love that the decoration in the middle will tie in with my dress.
Earrings
These earrings are from Lia Sophia (which I sell) and are perfect. They are simple, but pretty and they compliment my dress!
Bracelet
I bought this bracelet (Spangle) from Lia Sophia to go with the earrings and dress! I absolutely love it and it matches my other accessories perfectly!
Necklace
This is my great-grandmother's pearl necklace that my aunt and great aunt both wore in their weddings. I'm keeping the tradition going by wearing it, plus it makes my something old!
Clutch
I found this clutch on Etsy; the woman making them put all the roses on in exactly the colors I wanted! It's perfect!
Garter
I was looking through David's Bridal's garters when I stumbled upon this one. The PERFECT rainbow garter!
Shoes
I found these heels on ebay for $25 which made both me and my bank account happy. They're simple and exactly what I wanted! I'm really excited to wear them! However, I don't want my feet to hurt all night so I bought the flip flops for the reception!
Nailpolish
I bought two nailpolishes for the wedding, one for my fingernails and one for my toenails. I got a beautiful iridescent white called "Let's See the Ring" from OPI for my hands and "Rainbow Connection" from OPI's Muppets collection for my feet. I love the colors and I also love the Muppets!!
Cufflinks
I found these cufflinks on Pinterest and really loved them. I got them for Matt with our initials and date. I know he's going to love them!
Socks
We got all the groomsmen socks to go with their cufflinks and I found these for Matt. They're from Express and are part of a 4 for $25 deal. Now I just have to remember to have our photographer take a picture of all of their socks!
Shoes
Matt (and the groomsmen) will be renting shoes with their tuxes from Joseph A. Bank. These are the shoes that Matt chose for everyone: Perry Ellis cap toes.
Bridesmaids
For the ceremony, I wanted the girls to have something over their shoulders since it's a Catholic ceremony, so I bought them each a Pashima shawl in their color. I also bought them flips flops for the reception so that their feet don't hurt!
Flower Girl
Instead of having my flower girl carry rose petals (which the chapel doesn't permit anyway) I wanted her to have a pomander. I found one with fake roses on Oriental Trading that she could keep as a momento afterwards! I also bought her flip flops for the reception (although she may not want to wear them).
Groomsmen
For the groomsmen gifts, we wanted to get them something similar to the bridesmaids that they'd be able to use for and after the wedding. So we bought them all cufflinks in their color from Cuff-Daddy on Amazon. We also bought them argyle socks in their colors from Express.
Ring Bearer
I wanted to do something different than the typical ring pillow and I found this ring box in the Knot's shop. We recently bought it when the shop was having a sale.
I also bought two cheap sterling silver rings from Amazon to put in the box since the best man and maid of honor carry the real ones.
